Semi-automatic band saw with hydraulic movement. Cuts solid and profiled metals between 60o left and 45o right. Steel arch with tubular section.
All KS series saws allow you to fix the material clamping screw only once and then rotate the bow to cut both left and right (up to 60 °).
Easy to use work table thanks to rotating work surface integral with arch and blade pitch to optimize material support system during processing at all angles.
Cutting precision is ensured by the graduated scale (on the work surface) which provides a visual reference for the operator when cutting at an angle. There are also automatic stops at 45 ° to the left, 0 ° and 45 ° to the right. To increase cutting precision, Imet band saws are equipped with a system to detect degrees of cut from the center.
In electrowelded steel, the blade has a 6 ° inclination to improve penetration into the material and optimize the execution of the cut. The rotation of the arch is carried out by means of a preloaded bearing. The KS 620 blade has a tension of 2000 kg / cm2 and is equipped with a control microswitch for immediate stop in the event of blade breakage or power failure.
